Updated a User's Guide for a data storage software for storage area networks (SAN) and Internet SCSI (iSCSI) environments. The document primarily contained installation and configuration procedures returned for system administrators using HP-UX. This update expanded the original document from 100 pages to 200 pages. November 2000 to April 2003, contract to permanent Technical Writer
Wrote system administration, installation, hardware compatibility, and release note documentation for SAN, network attached storage (NAS) and iSCSI environments. This included descriptions and configuration instruction for dynamic multipathing (DMP), access control lists, cluster operation, command line interface (CLI), Fibre Channel, logical unit number (LUN) allocation, agents, and world wide port name (WWPN) content. Also specified compatible, related hardware such as host bus adapters (HBAs) and network interface cards (NICs). Audience included UNIX and Linux System Administrators. Wrote installation and operation documentation for network encryption devices and network management software for the creation of virtual private networks (VNPs) using Internet Protocol Security (IPsec).
