Books About Cancerolytic Herbs and A History of
Supression
"Dr. James Watson won a Nobel Prize for determining the shape
of DNA. During the 1970's, he served two years on the National Cancer Advisory
Board. In 1975, he was asked about the National Cancer Program. He declared,
'It's a bunch of shit.'
"In 1953, a United States Senate Investigation reported that
a conspiracy existed to suppress effective cancer treatments. The Senator
in charge of the investigation conveniently died. The investigation was halted.
It was neither the first nor the last of a number of strange deaths involving
people in positions to do damage to those running the nation's cancer
program.
"In 1964, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) spent millions
of dollars to stop an alternative cancer treatment which had cured hundreds,
if not thousands, of cancer patients according to documented records. It
was later disclosed that the FDA had falsified the testimony of witnesses.
The FDA lost the court case because the jury found the defendants innocent
and recommended that the substance be objectively evaluated. It never was.
Instead, it was totally suppressed.
"In the early 1960's, two New York City doctors, one associated
with the leading cancer center in America and the other the medical director
of a Brooklyn hospital, decided to inject live cancer cells into 22 unknowing
patients. When they were discovered, Dr. Chester M. Southam of the Memorial
Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Dr. E.E. Mandel of the Jewish Chronic Disease
Hospital of Brooklyn were put on "probation" for a year. The three physicians
who "blew the whistle" on Dr. Southam and Dr. Mandel were
dismissed.
"For many years, the American Medical Association (AMA) and
the American Cancer Society (ACS) coordinated their "hit" lists of innovative
cancer reseachers who were to be ostracized. One investigative reporter declared
the AMA and ACS "for a network of vigilantes prepared to pounce on anyone
who promotes a cancer therapy that runs against their substantial prejudices
and profits."
"In the late 1950's, it was learned that Dr. Henry Welch,
head of the FDA's Division of Antibiotics, had secretly received $287,000
from the drug companies he was supposed to regulate. In 1975, an independent
government evaluation of the FDA still found massive "conflicts of interest"
among the agency's top personnel.
"In 1977, an investigative team from the prominent Long Island
newspaper Newsday found serious "conflicts of interest" at the National Cancer
Institute (NCI). In 1986, an organized cover-up of an effective alternative
cancer therapy, orchestrated by NCI officials, was revealed during Congressional
hearings.
"These examples are only the tip of a huge iceberg. The cancer
establishment now has a 50-year history of vast corruption, incompetence
and organized suppression of cancer therapies which actually work. Millions
of people have suffered terrible torture and death because those in charge
took payoffs, played it safe, had closed minds to the innovative, or simply
were afraid to do what was obviously and morally right...
"The doctor's union (AMA), the cancer bureaucracy (NCI), the
public relations fatcats (ACS) and the cancer cops (FDA) are conspiring to
suppress a cure for cancer.... It would be easy for any Congressional committee,
major newspaper, television network or national magazine to confirm and extend
the evidence presented here in order to initiate radical reform of the critical
cancer areas--the hospitals, the research centers, the government agencies,
and especially state and local legislation regarding cancer treatment.
"But that will not happen without a struggle. Neither Congress
nor the media desire to lift the manhole cover on this sewer of corruption
and needless torture. Only organized, determined citizen opposition to the
existing cancer treatment system has any hope of bringing about the long-needed
changes. I expect the struggle to be a long, difficult one against tough,
murderous opposition. The odds against success are heavy. The vested interests
are very powerful.... "
Barry Lynes
Taken from the introduction to
The Healing of Cancer,
The Cures-The Cover-ups and the Solution Now!
The mountain of evidence to support the collusive activities
of Western governments, most particularly the United States, along with other
prominent members of the Medical Industrial Complex, is enough to make the
prosecution's case in the O.J. Simpson trial appear paltry...
Nonetheless, it is beyond the scope of this Web site to present
all the evidence. Instead, we have opted to present our case, as it relates
to "cancerolytic herbs," our specialty, summarized for mass consumption.
We leave the rest to other authors, such as Mr. Barry Lynes--among whose
books are summarized below along with ordering information.
First, our selection of the top titles on alternative cancer
therapies and nutritional support regimens, and then our summary of evidence
on the deliberate suppression of cancerolytic ("cancer-killing") herbal
preparations.

The Medical Industrial Complex
by Stanley Wohl, M.D. (Harmony Books, NY - 1984)
Although some of Dr. Wohl's material now appears dated, it is still an excellent
primer on "the transformation of (modern) medicine from an art and a science
to a business for profit." Wrote Robert Reich, M.D., then-Director of Psychiatry
for the Human Resources Administration in New York: "(Dr. Wohl's book) is
a powerful account of the passing of medical authority from physicians to
robber barons--to the peril of us all." With impressive bibliographical support,
Dr. Wohl shows how the medical monopoly has corrupted what was once a noble,
altruistic profession. Very readable. (p. 218)
The McDougall Plan
by John A. McDougall, M.D. & Mary A. McDougall
(New Century Publishers, NJ - 1983)
This recommendation will surprise those who have read the book: it has nothing
to do with the suppression of cancer therapies as such. Nonetheless, the
work presents such superbly researched evidence of government conspiracy
as it relates to diet and nutrition, it as long earned our "two thumbs up."
The players are the same. Yes, you guessed it, the usual collection of rogues
and criminals: the FDA, AMA, large corporate interests, etc. But the dietary
recommendations themselves strongly favor a positive anti-cancer, anti-heart
disease nutritional regime (what McDougall calls a "health-supporting diet").
Dr. McDougall's wife, Mary, does an excellent job with the recipe section
at the back of the book. Written sixteen years ago, we still feel that McDougall
is a must read. (p. 338)
Racketeering in Medicine:
The Suppression of Alternatives
by James P. Carter, M.D., Ph.D.
(Hampton Roads Publishing, VA - 1992/93)
A man with an impressive medical pedigree, Dr. Carter speaks out from his
tenured position as head of the Nutrition Section at Tulane University's
Department of Applied Health Sciences on everything that's ailing us. Evidence
is massive in this monograph to which Dr. Carter refers as his Ghandi-like
quest for "Right Against Might." Among the well-presented facts:
-
Bona-fide therapies are being disparaged as quackery.
-
Health-care givers who offer alternative treatments are being persecuted.
-
Government agencies are participating in the harassment of alternative
practitioners.
-
Drug companies are unduly influencing medical professionals' actions.
-
Kangaroo courts are convicting honorable men of trumped-up charges.
-
The financial bottom line all too often determines what medicine or treatment
is researched, tested and approved.
Sound familiar? Buy the book anyways... covers a lot of excellent material
not found elsewhere from an authority in the field. (p. 350)
The Cancer Industry
The Classic Expose on the Cancer Establishment
by Ralph W. Moss, Ph.D. (Paragon House, NY - 1991)
"An important and controversial new book." - New York Tribune
"[Moss] delivers his argument with low-keyed logic and a slow, careful
building-up of facts... Riveting!" Denver Post
This is the ultimate, insider whistle-blower's expose. Dr. Moss was the assistant
director of public affairs at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He
saw all the inner workings of the cancer establishment as few ever have.
A summary of his report: the billion dollar "war on cancer" is going nowhere.
His fifteen years of investigation will show you: how drug companies influence
cancer policy; how major industries keep the emphasis in cancer research
away from prevention; how the American Cancer Society maintains a blacklist
of unorthodox treatments; and how the National Cancer Institute collaborates
in the suppression of new ideas. Exceptional work. To order in the U.S. call

Cancer Therapy: The Independent Consumer's
Guide To Non-Toxic Treatment & Prevention
by Ralph W. Moss, Ph.D. (Equinox Press, NY - 1992)
Launched on the heels of his best-selling work, The Cancer Industry,
Ralph Moss is back with a scholarly, panoramic view of effective, alternative
cancer therapies... and an objective review of some which are not so effective.
It's objective and very referential. Frankly, we were disappointed with the
lack of coverage on escharotics, the highly effective approach upon which
our Cansema formula is
based (he treats it almost tangentially in talking about Hoxsey's formulas
on page 163). Nonetheless, the rest of the work, particularly as it pertains
to nutrition and prevention is quite thorough. Reads like a reference tool,
so just place on your bookshelf next to the dictionary. To order in the U.S.

The Cancer Cure That Worked!
Fifty Years of Supression
by Barry Lynes (Marcus Books, Ontario, Canada, 1987)
This is the first of two Barry Lynes books we present. Often referred by
those who have read it as simply, The Rife Report, Lynes book isn't
something you buy: it's an heirloom you read and pass on to your children.
The Rife Report is a well-researched story of one of the greatest scientific
geniuses of the 20th century, Roy Rife, and how the "medical-pharmaceutical
cartel" sought to destroy his highly effective system of cancer treatment.
Many people have claimed to possess Rife's technology and obtain similar
results, and frankly, we believe that most are bogus. Nonetheless, the story
itself, particularly concerning the extreme measures that the MIC will take
to destroy an effective, alternative approach, is a story well worth reading.
And telling. (p. 167)
OPTIONS: The Alternative Cancer Therapy
Book
by Richard Walters (Avery Publishing Group, NY - 1993)
A suberb, comprehensive work on alternative cancer therapies. In particular,
we felt that the section on Herbal Therapies (starting on p. 91) was quite
well done, including the work of Hoxsey and Rene Caisse (Essiac). Using plain
and simple language, Options explains--without bias--how each treatment
works, presents the scientific rationale underlying each method, and provides
clinical documentation of the results. It also examines the myths and
misconceptions surrounding alternative cancer therapies from both political
and social perspectives. Guidelines for choosing an alternative therapy as
provided by the author. Very readable and informative. (p. 396)
The CanCell Controversy
Why Is A Possible Cure For Cancer Being Suppressed?
by Louise B. Trull (Hampton Roads Publishing, VA - 1993)
Imagine! You create an cancer remedy, give it away for FREE to any cancer
patient who asks for it because of your love for humanity. You get incredible
results. But because your not making a nickel, the MIC will leave you alone,
right? Well, boys and girls, if you've been paying attention so far you get
three guesses--and the first two don't count. We haven't tested Cancell/Entelev
ourselves because of the effectiveness of our own Alpha Omega approach.
But that's not the point. This is a therapy that deserves, as so many other
alternative therapies do, its due day in the court of scientific inquiry.
Will the medical/pharmaceutical cartel do everything in their power to make
sure this never happens? You bet! Slow in places and heavily-laden with technical
data; otherwise, this is a good read. (p. 145)
You Don't Have
To Die
by Harry M. Hoxsey, N.D. (Millstone Books, NY - 1956)
A classic in the field, written 40 years old, You Don't Have To Die
is one of the most extraordinary true stories of government and medical
corruption in the 20th century. Still in print after all these years (and
available from the Cancer Control Society, see above), Hoxsey's book tells
the story of a man who used herbal-based formulas passed down from his
grandfather, to create a successful, thriving chain of seventeen cancer treatment
clinics. Hoxsey's success rate, even by today's standards, was exceptional.
This book is close to our heart, of course, because Alpha Omega formulas
are descendants of Hoxsey's approach; we think this book will be close to
yours because after all these years, it's still an incredible true story.
When you read this book in conjunction with some of the previous titles,
you realize that the monopolistic methods of the medical industrial complex
are the same; but the depth of corruption has actually gotten worse. (p.
310).
The Healing of Cancer
The Cures - The Cover-ups and the Solution Now!
by Barry Lynes (Marcus Books, Ontario, Canada, 1989)
As if you didn't need yet more convincing evidence, here is more evidence
still of the corrupt modus operandi of the AMA/FDA/NCI/ASC cartel. (Incidentally,
we quoted from this book at the beginning of this page.) Barry makes a point
in demonstrating that the real task for true medical science is not finding
a cancer cure -- they already exist -- but the establishment of legal and
political conditions which will enable physicians to use the cancer cures
which have already proved successful. Although Barry spends a lot of energy
pushing "energy medicine" as an alternative therapy in this volume, we felt
that the reporting on patterns of suppression by the medical cartel was worth
more than the price of admission. (p. 210)
