Alchemical Teas and Foods
The following are the teas and foods that contain more ORMES than anything I have eaten or drank other than actual achemical products. Simply put, the goal of these herb based teas and foods is to nourish, balance and cleanse. The family owned Sunrider company has accomplished this by intensive soil conditioning and their unique herb processing. The effect of this approach is phenomenal upon overall health regardless of the alchemical side effect which Sunrider may not be aware of.
If you know a bit about Chinese medicine, you know that it can taste awful, but can work miracles where other medicines fail. The awful taste usually comes from the leaves of the herbs, but not necessarily from the compounds and enzymes that allow herbs to produce their magical effects. Finally a company, Sunrider has figured out how to remove the most powerful properties of these herbs and make them into teas and foods without that terrible taste. You can have the benefits of these powerful herbs and the magic of ORMES everyday.
Remember to chew this food slowly and completely and hold each mouthful of drink to allow the ORMES to flow into your tongue. ORMES don't get through the normal digestive track very well.
Calli
This is my new water. Hot or cold it is delicious with a little Sunrider stevia, SunnyDew® (see below). One bag makes a 32 ounces of tea. The primary ingredient in Calli® (and Fortune Delight®) is camellia sinensis. Calli also contains green tea. Although the FDA prevents most medical claims for herbs, it can be said that catechins have a strong antioxidant action. This is the tea that I use for a continuous detox. It uses nutrition to support the body's natural cleansing functions. Every couple of days, I add Quinary powder (see Super Herbs below) to boost the nutritional effect. Fortune Delight
Fortune Delight is a powder that tastes great hot or cold. It comes in individual packets so you can carry it around and make a healthy and delicious drink wherever you are. It supports the effects of the Calli tea (see above). It is delicious with the Sunrider stevia, SunnyDew. The primary ingredient in Fortune Delight are catechins which are naturally occurring polyphenol chemicals found in Camellia extract. Although the FDA prevents most medical claims for herbs, it can be said that catechins have a strong antioxidant action. Fortune Delight comes in these flavors:regular, cinnamon, lemon, peach, raspberry. My favorite is peach. The packets come in two sizes 3 grams make an eight ounce drink and the 20 gram packet makes two quarts. Click here for more information and order options. NuPlus
This is the herbal foundation of my diet. I use it on salads, in shakes, and right out of the pack. It kills my appetite as if I had given my body exactly what it wanted. I believe I did. It comes in these flavors: apple cinnamon, naturally plain, pina banana, mixed berry, and simply herbs. Naturally plain is my favorite. Click here for more information and order options. SunBars
I am amazed how these 110 calorie bars fill me up. It may be due to the four grams or fiber, the seven grams of protein, or the herbs but it isn't the sugar. They only have nine grams of sugar. That is about the sugar in two ounces of fruit juice and yet they taste quite sweet. Because of the high amount of fiber, it helps to drink a lot of fluids with the bar and chew each bit thoroughly. They come in chocolate and fruit flavor. I like the fruit flavor the best. Click here for more information and order options. Super Herbs
Quinary might be the most healthy thing I have ever put into my body. It contains 50 herbs in a super concentrated form and comes in power or capsules. Click here for more information and order options**. Log in to see the discount prices (requires joining, see the Discounts section below).
Other Herbs
My investigation into the production of the herbs that go into these teas and foods have convinced me that it is the preparation of the soil in which they grow that has given them their unique power. If you use any of these herbs, I imagine that Sunrider makes the very best you could find:
Dong Quai
White Willow Bark
Herbal Concentrates
