Starting on 10 May 99, the solar wind stopped for two days. Actually, it dropped to 2% of its normal density and to half its normal speed. Although the solar wind varies a bit, this was the most drastic and longest-lasting decrease ever observed. NASA sat on the story for five months. Squished it flat. When NASA finally released that information, it was too old for newspapers to carry. Reporting on five month old news makes newspapers appear rather slow. Even more startling is NASA's complete lack of a theory or explanation for this solar wind disruption when an explanation does exist.
A Healthy Sun, No Worries
Our sun puts out 100 million tons of matter every second. The resultant flow of this matter out into our solar system creates the solar wind. The solar wind is real stuff that comes from the nuclear reaction that occurs continuously on the sun. To stop the solar wind you must either blow it away or experience some wild magnetic variations at the sun. If this is just a wild variation of the sun, then it suggests that the sun is getting a little wild. That's not good, and can bring severe weather to Earth. It also suggests that a disturbance from outside our solar system has occurred or is starting to occur. One occurrence that might be powerful enough to blow the solar wind away is a gamma ray burst. Robert Fritzius who runs the Shade Tree Physics site speculates that the unusually intense Gamma-Ray Burst (GRB 990510), which was also detected on 10 May 10 1999, at about 8:49 universal time (UT), and lasted the unusually long time of 105 seconds may be the explanation for the solar wind disruption.

Our Sun is Freaking Out
This does not have much to due with the solar wind stopping, but is directly related to our sun. I am amazed that our scientists are trying to convince us that our wild weather is due to global warming. Just look at all these dramatic increases in sun related catastrophes. Our sun is freaking out and very few people are talking about it. The changes in the sun may be due to our solar system has traveling into an area of interstellar space that contains more ions of hydrogen, helium, and hydroxyl. This may have caused the appearance of new states, and activity regimes, of the Sun which have been observed. Secrecy Stinks
The stopping of the solar wind is potentially very important information and it was kept from us. As our government gets bigger it keeps more and more information from us. You can work for years on an invention and the government will take the information, ban you from getting a patent, and make it illegal for you to distribute the information.
Since 1983, the number of U.S. government-imposed secrecy orders to withhold patents (they keep the information) increased by about 40 percent, from 3,900 in 1983 to 6,033 in 1993. For more patent withholding information and references.
Does anyone doubt that the various department in the US government and NASA withhold any information they can conceivably turn into an advantage? Patents are withheld if the information can be used for defense or effects national security. National security covers the ability of the government to maintain peace. So government can withhold information if they think it will cause a panic because panics lead to riots. Riots are a clear threat to national security. That covers a lot of information some of which could greatly aid our space program, because propulsion and defense are closely related. The worst thing is that this information is always compartmentalized. Departments or agencies that could greatly profit from such information may never even hear of it.

Why Classify So Much?
The empire builders want to classify everything they can. The reason is simple, the more material they find to classify the further then rise in the company. It works like this: let's say you are a low level manager with five employees working for you. The job of your employees is to locate sensitive information, classify it, and perform other measures to prevent our enemies from obtaining it. The more of such information they find, the larger the job of your employees becomes. Soon you can justify to your boss that you need more people. Your new employees continue the cycle and soon your need even more people. Before, you know it you have enough employees under you to become a middle manager. If enough of your boss's mangers do this, he becomes a higher manager. Therefore, your boss will always help you justify classifying information and hiring more people to protect it. I ran into their style of protection a few years ago while researching anit-gravity, it was most impressive.
Do you wonder who Is Really Running NASA? It is not the American people.
Perhaps the sun should not be the only thing flaring.
One Final Mystery Uncovered
I don't sell anything, but I found black and white proof that the National Cancer Institute (NCI)) falsified their test results of a safe cancer/viral treatment. NCI gets $2 billion of our tax money each year until they find a cure for cancer, so finding the cure would be the end of their comfortable jobs. That might explain their duplicity. If you:
